I was drawn to Psychosynthesis as a therapeutic approach because it honors the spiritual aspect of the human experience and the potential of growth that comes with that.
To work in a psychospiritual way means acknowledging not only the experiences of our past, but also the present moment and looking at everything that still can be. Your past experiences don’t have to define or hinder you, everyone has the capacity to be everything they wish to become.
You may want to explore what your life’s purpose could be if you are looking to find a new direction or look at discovering creative solutions to current issues you experience. No issue is too big or too small, all issues are welcome and valid. I see each as a possibility for positive change. You could benefit from counselling if you feel isolated, have low self-esteem, suffer from anxiety, or are fed up with life generally and feel that talking to your friends and family does not provide you with the support you long for.
My sessions provide you with a non-judgmental space in which you can talk about anything on your mind. Putting this time aside for yourself can truly improve your sense of well-being, confidence and sense of meaning and purpose.
The sessions are yours and we will develop them led by what you bring to them, I may also suggest working with dreams, guided imagery, drawing and other creative tools that might help you look at a problem in a new way, in order for you to overcome it differently, or to help you break unwanted patterns.
I follow the 'BACP Ethical Framework' (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and everything discussed in our sessions is private and confidential.
